Minesweeper Twist presents an intriguing variation of the traditional Minesweeper game, offering players a fresh challenge through its unconventional grid design.

In the classic version, players are presented with a straightforward puzzle: utilize numerical clues—indicating the number of neighboring mines—to systematically uncover safe tiles while avoiding detonating any mines. Successfully flagging all mines results in victory, whereas uncovering a mine prematurely ends the game.

The variant introduces an irregular grid structure, diverging from the standard uniform layout. Whereas each cell in a traditional grid has eight neighbors, Minesweeper Twist's cells may have between six and ten adjacent tiles. This structural change complicates the puzzle-solving process, as players can no longer rely on familiar heuristics suited for regular grids, thereby increasing the difficulty level.

The game offers multiple difficulty settings. It begins with a beginner-level grid, manageable within a few minutes for seasoned players. The intermediate and expert modes feature larger grids that demand more strategic planning. Additionally, a custom mode is available, allowing for the configuration of grid size and the percentage of tiles containing mines, further tailoring the challenge to individual preferences.
